First time using Dollar - Grosvenor Resort

In the past, I've always rented from National - either at MCO or the Dolphin. I was always able to find codes and coupons that gave me great rates.

But for our upcoming trip in June, I was pricing an intermediate car for June 19-26 and the best I could get was $227. I also used to find a wide variation between the discount codes, but almost every one I tried gave the same total.

So, I tried the Dollar location at the Grosvenor resort, using the Promo code of KVV and came up with a total of $124.06 including tax for the week. Looks like I'll be renting from Dollar this trip!

We're rented from Dollar at the Grosvenor the last two trips. It was easy. They even offered us a convertible the first time. (DH declined) We had reserved INTERMEDIATE both times. And both times we returned to the the airport - fist time TPA, second time MCO

I've got a reservation booked at the Grosvenor for May also using the KVV code. I was quoted $98.99 ($124.06 including tax) for a Compact. This is by far the cheapest rate I've seen from any rental company I've checked.

Thanks Rpsemont, I was wondering how it would be renting from Dollar at the Grosvenor. I plan on taking the bus to DTD from Pop and then walking over to pick up the car. Do you know if Dollar offers a shuttle?

Yes, Dollar does offer a shuttle. When we were staying at ASMusic in December, we were waiting for the bus to DTD to go to pick up our car and someone mistakenly told us the bus to DTD didn't start running until 10:00 so we called Dollar and they sent a shuttle to come pick us up.

I'm also renting a minivan from Dollar at the Grosvenor Resort, June 6-9. Only $29.99 per day with the promo code of KISSE. Was also wondering how I would get there from POP or whatever park I would be at that day. Now I know. Just figured I would take the bus to DTD and then walk over to the resort, but much easier if they have a shuttle bus.

Would Dollar also shuttle a person who dropped off a car at the Grosvner Dollar?

Hedy, yes they certainly will. They have done it for us the last couple of times we've rented from them.

The Grosvenor Resort is apparently now called the Regal Sun Resort, so be cautious about mixups with the names...
