First time trip in September '05

I am planning our first trip to WDW, September '05. I'm a little worried the characters will not be out as much because of the hot temperatures?

We have gone in Sept twice now, and got married in WDW in Sept. We love that time of the year. It can be hot but not as bad as summer. But the characters are still out, the heat doesn't really affect their schedules since they work for 20 minutes and then get a 40 minute break (or something like that) so that they don't overheat. If you are concerned about seeing your favorite ones, consider planning one or more character meals. That way you get to see several at once and don't have to stand in lines to do it.

Don't worry, I am always at WDW in September and the characters are always out. No matter what....they're there to see, greet, meet and take pics...don't forget to make PS for character meals too...you'll have a great meal and get to meet the characters even better!

We have always gone the first two weeks in September. The crowds are down and the weather is a little cooler. Have always seen just as many characters out then as we do in May or December.
You have nothing to worry about.

We have been to Disney many times and the best way to see the characters is a character dining. Call 407-WDW-DINE and book a priority seeting.
Best in my opinion are Chef Mickey (breakfast or lunch) in the contemporary hotel...a little pricey, but so worth it! Characters are all over the place visiting you at the table, singing and dancing for you and the food is incredible. Also really good in my opinion is the Lliberty Tree Tavern in the magic kingdom. It is great for lunch or dinner. Homestyle meals (big portions) with characters constantly visiting your table.
You should definately make a priority seating reservation before you go.
