First time trip help

We are going on a cruise next month and are arriving 4 days early. Looking to go to Universal. Priced a hotel and tickets for 6, 4 kids, 2 adults for 4 nights and park tickets for 3 days for $1257. through Universal Web site. Is this a good price? And will Feb be crazy with school vacations?

You are usually better off booking hotels and tickets separately so there is no cancellation or change fee should something comes up. Keep an eye on the hotel rates through the Loews website...you can always cancel and rebook if the price comes down. Ticket prices can go up at any time so if you decide to things separately, get the tickets as soon as you're sure.
