We've visited Anaheim and Disney many times over the years but have never made it to Knott's. This time we are here for several weeks so we are going to go check it out. Especially since they are offering veterans free admission along with one guest. A nice incentive. :goodvibes

So, what would be the best day of the week to go? Does it matter this time of year?

What should we make a point to see. I'm not a wild rollercoaster kinda girl, but DH will ride just about anything. Its just the two of us.

Any thing we should know to make it an enjoyable day?

What time of year is very important if your going to use the veterans get in free. This year, according to Knott's website the offer expires 1/5/14. In the past it was only available in Nov.

For some reason it seems that Sundays are slower than Saturdays. I would suppose that weekdays would be even slower but that is just conjecture since I've never been on a weekday. I usually go once a year and take advantage of the free admission.

Make sure you eat in the Chicken Dinner. If you aren't really into coasters stay off of Ghostrider. It's historic but teeth rattling and bone jarring.

GhostRider is the largest attraction in park history and one of the longest and tallest wooden roller coasters in the world.

Copied from their website.
