Hi all,

Just looking for some advice! We have done WDW loads and know it like the back of our hands! However I am now pregnant and in need of a Disney fix prior to the arrival of the baby and don't really fancy the long flight to Florida. :sad2:

WE have never been to DLRP and are looking at staying at Hotel New York for 3 nights in March (before Easter) and I will be about 27 weeks at the time - do you think the walk to the parks will be too much?

Also will we have enough time to see everything? Bear in mind that I can't go on the best rides :sad1:

Thanks :goodvibes

Elise

Hi,

The New York is literally only 5 minutes walk (10 if you are ambling) down through the Village to the gates of the Disneyland Park, The Studios are even closer.

3 nights and days in DLRP will easily give you enough time to see everything, especially if you are going midweek.

Congratulations on your preganancy :cloud9:

At 27 weeks you shouldn't be too uncomfortable walking about and the walk to The New York is quite a short one :goodvibes Just make sure you take your time and drink plenty. I think that is plenty of time in the parks to get your Disney fix - I love just sitting in the Parks people watching so you wont be missing out cause you cant go on the big rides :)

im sure you will be fine, you will have to miss out on the most extreme rides because obviously your babys safety is more important that riding thunder mountain this trip, but you shoudl be ok with plenty of rest and watering places.
have a great time and congratulations on your pregnancy :)

i am sure you will be fine, i also love just sitting and watching whats going on in the parks. So take it steady and you will be fine. My Sister in Law went when she was 20 weeks gone and she had no problems, there will still be plenty for you to do... congratulations and have fun... :wizard:

Thanks for all the congratulations! I had thought I would be ok without a Dinsey fix but apparently not - I am even planning our first trip back to WDW with the baby for 2009!! :rotfl:

I was more concerned about being able to walk to the parks as we know what the hotel buses are like at WDW! ;) Wouldn't fancy trying to get on a packed bus at park closing with a bump!! :scared1:

I am really looking forward to doing some pin trading whilst DH goes on the coasters - he said he tell me what they were like :lmao: Are the CM's as friendly as WDW? I really enjoy chatting to them when pin trading last year.

Thanks Again

Elise

I find them just as friendly. Obviously sometimes there's a language barrier but the vast majority speak English and I find they really appreciate it if you say a little French like Bonjour, Merci, Au Revoir to them ~ mind you the big smiles on their faces are probably to hide their laughter at my appalling accent!!! :goodvibes

Congratulations on your pregnancy. :goodvibes If you love MK at WDW, you'll love the Disneyland Park too as it's even more beautiful :cloud9: so you can spend lots of time just enjoying your surroundings whilst your DH rides the coasters!

Congratulations on your good news.
I'm sure you'll enjoy spending time taking in the detail of Disneyland Paris parks :)

Hi there,
When we went in June 2006 I was also 26 weeks pregnant with second baby. It was hot but not unbearable. March should be fine and don't think you'll be very incomfortable.

Enjoy!

Good luck with the baby!
