So I have been reading through posts and have learned DL does not use Magic bands? What type of technology/tickets will we use to get in to the park? TIA

You can use the paper tickets emailed to you and scan into your phone, then use your phone to get in. They'll take your picture at the turnstiles the first time and match your face.

They also print off business card size tickets you can use if you don't want to use your phone. Either way you'll have both options

Like the above poster noted, it's on your phone or a small paper ticket. Make sure to get the Disneyland app, as they don's use the My Disney Experience app. Once we have Genie and Genie+, that will be attached to your phone app as well.

A big reminder: Disneyland is very different than WDW, so what may be true at WDW isn't necessarily true at DL. And the rides WDW has amongst the 4 parks, DL has a similar amount between our 2 parks, and those two parks are only a football field away (approximately) from one gate to the other.

Since you asked about magic bands at DL, just announced at D23 today:

BREAKING: The next-generation MagicBand+ wearable technology and “Hey, Disney!” voice assistant, recently announced for Walt Disney World Resort, will be coming to Disneyland Resort in 2022!

This will mark the first time MagicBand+ will be available at Disneyland Resort to enhance the guest experience with hands-free convenience as it unlocks unique moments of magic for Disneyland Resort guests. Some of the features of MagicBand+ will vary between Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort and we’ll share details in the months ahead. The “Hey, Disney!” voice assistant will work alongside Alexa on Amazon Echo devices and also will begin rolling out to guest rooms across the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort.
