....and I keep thinking of new questions!

Does anyone know if you have to make reservations for the new T-Rex Restaurant at DTD?

We are going to Animal Kingdom one day and then once it closes, we have reservations that evening for dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella for me and my daugther. I wanted to send my husband and my son off to do something fun together while my daughter and I are dining with Cinderella. Does anyone have any suggestions of something that my son might enjoy in the Orlando area? We are staying off property and have a car. (We're all going to the T-Rex restaurant on another night so that isn't an option for this night.)

I heard that there is a RainForest Cafe inside Animal Kingdom. Does it stay open after the park closes at 6? We are leaving at 6 when it closes so would they be able to go in at 6 and eat or would they not allow you to be seated at that time cause they were closing?

TIA!

there is Disney quest in down town its 5 floors of video and verchal games and if you are going to eat at any of the restaurants it a good idea to get a reservation or you may have to wait for a table

Hey there!

First time to Disney?! Wow! Where to begin!

Yes. If you're looking for a good dining experience that doesn't require admission to a park then I've heard nothing but good things about DTD's new T-Rex restaurant.

However, if you're just looking for general things in the Orlando area, try the Pirate's Dinner Adventure:

Obviously trying to capitalize off POTC but still, it's supposed to be a really fun dining experience. I'm sure your husband and son would really enjoy it.

As for AK, they can stay open from 5pm to 7pm. It varies from day to day. You can check out the schedule here:

I don't know if you "have" to make reservations, but you can. Call the restaurant directly and they will do it for you over the phone.

The Rainforest Cafe at AK is open past 6:00 pm. It has an entrance / exit that places you outside the park. So, yes the men can go to Rainforest Cafe while you head to MK.

Not sure how old your son is but we took our DD6 to the Ripley's Believe It or Not...Odditorum and we had a blast! I think boys would especially enjoy all the weird stuff in here! It is filled with all sorts of strange and interesting stuff. It is in Orlando. I will post a few pics and add the link...
