First time SW advice - Labor Day Weekend

Will be visiting Florida for the first time this Aug/Sep and currently planning our Seaworld Day.

Initially I was going to avoid the Labor Day Weekend crowds, however, I've noticed that weekend and on Labor Day itself the park is open later. Does this mean any "special" shows/activities take place?

Thank you in advance for any advice. This is our first trip so want to make the most of our time there.

From what i have seen schedule wise yes they will have some night shows that are different from the day shows. No fireworks since summer nights ends in august.

Thank you for the information. I did hope a later close time would mean an additional night time show but didn't want to get my hopes up. Fingers crossed!

Now need to plan my discovery cove day so may be back with a few more questions.

Great minds think alike. Sounds like we are planning our trips at the same time. We are hoping to visit Sea World on Labor Day weekend for the extended hours as well

About the fireworks: There is short fireworks finale at the end of the new Shamu night show "Light Up The Night". Light Up The Night should be performed on Saturday and Sunday of Labor day weekend.
