First time staying onsite: Is AKL Club Level worth it?

Hello,

I am going for my 23rd Birthday. Seriously, have never spent that much on hotel room in my life but after hearing about all the extra food and the Sunrise Safari, we decided to splurge. I have heard from Don at the hotel that our room with be moved to the 4th floor because of the construction. He said the pool views were gone(or going to be gone by the time of our stay) because of construction. For some reason AAA doesn't have any discounts for this level, is that with all of the Disney hotels? We are going from the 24th-26th. How is the Sunrise Safari? Has anyone stayed recently and been affected by construction? How close can you get to the animals at the lodge? Has anyone stayed in the 4h floor?

I haven't stayed there personally, but usually hotels will block off 1 floor above and below the floor under construction as a buffer. I would press for the discount either from AAA or Disney, considering the inconvenience and the fact that it is not your fault that the discount rooms are out of service.
