* First time staying at the YC, concierge level! Any tips??? One question though... *

I'm very excited and got an outstanding rate! If anyone has any advice or tips, they would be greatly appreciated. This is our first time on a concierge level!

One question though, do the rooms at the YC concierge level have fridges?

Someone said they have a wet bar fridge, but it was stocked with goodies that were overly priced...and if you took them out you had to pay for them...?

I am not sure about that. I was under the impression that the WDW resorts had removed the "wet bar". You might want to post this question on the Lounge Lizard thread. Very knowledgeable and nice Disers over there.

We stayed there in April and we didn't have a refrigerator. I suppose you could request one. You will have a great time. The YC concierge floor is fantastic.

We were there last April for 10 days-loved the place-tried to book it for this Mar but alas no rooms-staying at the BC CL this time instead.

You will get a special "gold" key for the elevator-when you get there, take the elevator to concierge desk and they will check you in there (if you have family with you-they can go into the lounge for some refreshements while you do this). They will provide you with you itinerary (if you had them make any reservations or PS's for you). Our room had a full balcony and overlooked the YC Marina (awesome view-esp at night). Our room had a small fridge in it-empty. Did not have a stocked wetbar fridge. Had two queens beds and a daybed, split bathroom (really nice).

The lounge items were always fresh and plentiful-in the late afternoon they always served some hot food made by the Yachtsman Steakhouse (our personal favorite) along with other things.

It really was nice to have-when we stayed at BWI-CL a couple of weeks ago-they did not have a fridge in the room and I really missed it. Both resorts got us a coffeemaker and coffee for our rooms when we asked.

Other than location, if I recall correctly, the rooms are the same as non-concierge rooms. You require a special "key" to use the elevator to get to the concierge floor.

I think what they mean is that the two sinks and the vanity are outside the toilet and shower area. That is the way ours was. It was great we loved it. Love the double sinks.

The wet bars have in fact all been removed, and yes, all YC conceirge rooms do have refrig's.

thanks and have a great time! we stayed at the yc concierge for our honeymoon and we loved it. cast members were great and so helpful- food was plentiful and atmosphere was lovely! you will definitly enjoy your stay!
