First time renting DVC points--which studio?

Yes--I watched a video. WHY??? is there only one toilet?! Otherwise it's so great.

I’m not certain, but I think they were also somewhat limited by the older sewer connections. Shower and sink water can be drained to someplace different from sewerage. Maybe they weren’t allowed to add a toilet.

I see you already have your request in, but thought I’d throw my two cents in anyway. We are of a rare breed of DVCer who thought the only good things about BCV were the pool and the access to the marketplaces at BC and YC. Other than those things, we absolutely did not like BCV. We loved BWV! Never stayed at Poly, but I can’t see living in any world that I wouldn’t love staying there since it’s one of my favorite resorts on property to visit

I know you mentioned BC is booked and you are probably not going to be there, BUT I was just in a studio there during Spring Break. It is small with 4 people. I have 2 kids that are little (4 and 8) and it was tight with us. None of us are particularly large either. Just want to put that out there. I believe BW is similar square footage to BC.

However, if you think you will be 3 days total between HS and Epcot, that location cannot be understated. We LOVE it there. Either hotel. You can walk or boat to HS or Epcot and the Skyliner is fun to just tour around other places.

I would look into the square footage/sleeping surfaces of the studios and then see how it compares with 1-bedroom and cost. You may find it worth it to go to a less expensive option but more space.

We are a BC family. We stayed at BW once out of necessity. It was better than we expected but still not nearly as nice as BC. If you are primarily at HS or Epcot I wouldn’t want to be at Poly except for MK day. You may find driving more pleasant than taking the bus.

I agree about a studio being tight. A 2BD lockoff is a studio and a 1BD. We have done that many times. Now that DS is a preteen the studio is tight with 3 of us. Is a 1BD completely out of reach cost-wise? You would be more comfortable and it’s more likely to fill.
