First time renter if dvc points

I'm going to rent points for a dvc stay for the first time for a trip in January next year. We want to stay at BLT or GVF. I have some questions. As I understand the person we rent from will add dining plan. Will be able to make our own dining reservations? Also will I have control of our magic bands and fp+? That really important to me that I control our fast pass and it will work in my Disney experience app. We are renting to decide if we want to buy into dvc or not.

Correct. Full payment is required by DVC when a dining plan is added to the reservation.

Will be able to make our own dining reservations?

Yes.

Also will I have control of our magic bands and fp+?

Yes.

You will need to link the room reservation to your MDE account in order to customize the MagicBands. Shipping is to US addresses only. Those with a non-US address will pick up their MagicBands at check-in.

You will need to have valid park admission linked to MDE in order to make FP+ selections.
