First time rental

Hello all, so I just submitted my request to rent dvc points for end of january 2022. My question is how long do you wait for them to find an owner? I just submitted so im not worried about it now but do you wait a month or 2? Is that common? Right now availibility is there just looking for owner to rent points from. Thanks for any advice.

You should be near the 7 month mark, so usually you will get someone then if at no other point.

And to clarify, any availability you are seeing is not in real time. The only way to truly know what can be gotten is when it Is time to book.

Things change so often that seeing things before you can book does not good…which is why we don’t allow posts here about it.

But, since you will be hitting the 7 month mark soon, it means all points will be usable…unless you want RIV and then they need to have an owner with qualified points.
