So I went to DL and even DCA as a child and then teen but its been years since I have been. I now have a college age DD (20 at time for trip) and an autistic DS (15 at time of trip) who have never been and I have never planned a trip to DLR and could use some advice.

Dates are pretty firmly set for during my DD's spring break of March 5th-11th. We are flying in from NC and waiting anxiously for the Southwest flights to drop in September. Fingers crossed I can get a decent flight cost to SNA and avoid LAX. First question- any suggestions for limo service to the hotel from SNA? The trip is a week after my son turns 15 and I would love to surprise him as this is a birthday trip for him.

Also thoughts on resorts? I am leaning very heavily towards DLH. We LOVE retro vibes- my daughter is obsessed with Disney history and also loves Tiki culture so Traders Sams before 21 and up seemed like a great plan but I know the GCH gets just a ton of love. The look does not really appeal much to us... we are not nature people but the location is something special. Thoughts on adding club level on at either or should we just enjoy the food at the parks?

Also does anyone have any idea if DAS works the same as DLR as a WDW? We get one every trip at WDW and they are a big part of why my son can go.

Finally any idea when we can buy a package for our dates? I am shocked the website is still only showing through December.

Thanks!

It sounds like the DLH would be the better fit for your family if you don’t mind walking a bit more.

DAS is the same as at WDW, to my understanding.

I don’t know anything about packages, but I’m sure someone else does. ☺️

The website usually opens up to the next year in late August or September! Keep checking!!!

I think the Disneyland Hotel is the hotel you should stay at! I love it!!!
