First time non home resort

So, I finally booked a non home resort stay for DH, DS and I! We are staying at BWV from June 11-15!! We love AKV so much, we haven't had the heart to ever try anything else! I will miss AKV, but am excited to try something new! My DH and DS are so excited to be in walking distance of EPCOT and DHS which are their 2 fave parks. Now if only they would confirm Star Wars Weekends for those dates, it'd make it a perfect trip!

AK was our first "home" and love staying there but after a stay or two at BWV we decided to buy a small contract there, too! Nothing beats walking into EPCOT and DHS!

We also like just walking around the Boardwalk at night and taking it easy.

While we love AKV, there is nothing like being in that Epcot area. BCV is our primary home resort (VGF and Aulani are the others) and AKV is a little too out of the way for our taste though we love the resort itself.

We own both BWV and AKV and enjoy both resorts very much. Staying at BWV will be a different experience but I think you will really enjoy it. AKV is such a special place that nothing really compares but BWV has it's own charm too. It's in a great location and you can walk to two parks (or take the boat which is fun too!) There is entertainment on the boardwalk in the evening and lots of restaurants in the area. And then there is Beaches and Cream across the lake at BCV if you want some ice cream.

The one issue with BWV is that for everything other than Epcot and HS, you go by bus and it makes multiple stops (at the Swan and the Dolphin) on the way. But I read recently on the Transportation board that BWV may be getting a dedicated MK bus sometime soon.
