Hi everyone,
I'm new here, trying to plan a solo trip to Orlando in Octobre and need you help. I will stay off-site for a week before going down to Miami. Haven't yet decided on how to get to Miami though.
In orlando I plan on doing Discovery cove, Seaworld and one day of shopping at the outlet malls. Which would leave me with 3 to 3 1/2 free days. I'm thinking about doing a Halloween party and maybe one day at another park. Which one would be best?

Thanks for your help

It sounds like you'll be doing the Magic Kingdom for at least one day. You'll be there during October which means that the Epcot Food/Wine festival will be going on. If you're looking for another park, I'd recommend Epcot if it's on a weekday.

Actually I'm thinking about going to Epcot and AK... just wondering which one I should do. And if the halloween party will give me enough time in MK or whether I should go the whole day... Would be a long day, but as I'll be one my own, there's nothing wrong with taking it slow in the afternoon.

Keep in mind. There are some rides that are not open during the parties. So while you can get a lot of rides done; you will miss out on the festivities. The fireworks for MSSHP are fantastic. So is the parade. Then add in if you want to meet characters and trick or treat. You will only be able to do some rides. You can get in at 4pm ( unless they change it this year) so yes; you can do a lot in regarded to regular MK stuff. 8 hours might seem like a lot, but I like doing all the things try have for the party. So it really depends on what your trying to do.

I've decided on doing the MNSSHP on octobre 20th, and will probably do Epcot on another day.
Now to my struggle: as the party is not enough time to enjoy all MK has to offer should I go there from RD until the end of the party which would leave me another day for HS or AK, or is it wiser to go tu MK twice on different days? I don't really know what to do especially as I absolutely have to be in a top shape when I arrive in Miami...

you can get in at 4 or 4:30 with your MNSSHP ticket

the party goes to 11 pm or midnight

so would do that.

the MK you can't see all of it in a day - so just plan on another trip - if you have a good time - you will be back

I agree with Brocktoon. I think if you have an extra , Epcot can't be missed. It is a do not miss park, just like the MK.

I keep changing my plans... one thing is sure: I will be back!
But this time I only have two full days and the party as Disney is not the main reason for this trip and can't afford to do more.

I've been several time to Disneyland in Paris... so the two really different parks are Epcot and AK. The more I look at Epcot description the lesser it appeals to me. Don't think it's a bad park, but I feel like I'd rather do it another trip when I have more time to take it in.
I will propably do a full Day in MK in addition to the party... wondering if for the second day I should do AK as I'd really like to try EE. Also a smaller park would probably be a good idea because I can't afford to be tired and aching all over when I get to Miami later in the week...
