First time in the world oct. 2014

Ok I am a day late ,but it was raining and very windy and we lost power so hard to update!!!oh yea 333 days to go....oh lala

Decided to update our plans..........did I already do this can't remember but just in case.
Staying at CSR Business Class
oct 1-12
yes that's 11 nights 12 days we did add on......

First off we are driving from Ohio.....Raina will drive from North Carolina.
My DH wants to go a couple days early and go to the dark side.....I know!
So we figure 2 days driving down, so we should leave on the 27th of sept and arrive in Florida the morning of the 29th........staying at hotels 2 nights on the road. We take frequent stops along the way! What can I say. It normally takes us a day and a half to get to Rainas and she is about 10hrs from WDW so that's how we figured it out. Anyways stopping at the dark side the 29th and 30th. and hopping down to WDW the morning of the 1st. Check in at CSR then hang out at the resort for awhile before we go to DTD. Circe De Solie! a must do for Raina.
then the 2nd is our first park day at MK ...rope drop L-BoG (BBB)D-Happy ever after
3rd Epcot B-Akershus before park opening L-cs D-Teppan Edo
4th DHS L-Sci Fi D-cs and Fantasmic of course
5th resort day sleep in late B-Chef Mickeys L-cs at resort (ponys) D-HDDMR
6th AK B-Tusker House L-cs late D-Cal grill
7th (our anniversary) MK B-Crystal Palace Afternoon tea GF D-Futons Crab House DTD
8th Epcot F&W L-cs/food booths late D-Chefs De France
9th resort day sleep in late B-Capt Cooks, Poly L-cs D-cs 4:00 MNSSHP-MK Pirate league at 4:30
10th sleep in.......then Park Hop to visit missed attractions or shows L-cs D-Ohana, Poly
11th MK rope drop L-LTT afternoon Epcot D-Via Napoli evening boardwalk

We plan on taking afternoon breaks at the resort except the first day. Ok we know we may have to tweak it after park hrs and stuff come out but this is going by the 2013 hrs and days best we could do for now.

WOW! So great you have so many days. AND so much planned. That is alot of sit down meals! Sounds yummy! Just remember how long those can take. I always under estimate how long the sit downs take, then end up running to make any plans after the meal. haha, but that is my family.

So cool now that it is Oct. you can all say.... "we're going to Disney in October". No longer have to say "next" October.

Plans look great as time gets closer it should all fall into place AND by that time the whole MB, FP + should be in place with no glitches/out of the testing phase so it should make life easier for the planning

Have to agree with Dee, though, those sit downs can take a LOT longer than you think, especially character meals which I'm sure the girls will love

Yay!!! Nice to see the plans all written out like that!

What can we say, we love to eat!!! We figure that since we will be there for so many days we will have plenty of time to do all the sit down meals and still see and do a lot. Plus whatever we don't get to do will just give us a reason to return, right?!!!

At this point I am more excited about the food than the rides.....

Yeah, I can finally talk about it a little at work without everyone rolling their eyes!! It is only 11 months away, that will be here before we know it!!

well in our family the point of a sit down meal is to relax and regroup and we may decide to go back to our resort after we eat. After all its a vaca so we are not.........I repeat not going to push ourselves......If we miss something we will just have to go back.......

i really can't wait for you guys yo actually be there.. all this talk and planning is not going to prepare you for the actual experience.

Ok I know I have not been to WDW have been to DL so many times I can not count. And I live right by cedar point a very large rollercoaster park. and have travelled all over the world and gone to various theme parks all over. Really if we hit the major rides we want to do and all....well to be honest I too am more excited to go to the resturants and try all the food than the rides. Of course I have a list of must dos but not every ride in every park..There are a few rides I will absolutely not go on TOT is one of these ......I know I will most likely get flamed for that, but Cedar Point has a tower ride that is a stripped down vertion of TOT and 1. I don't like hights I have vertigo. 2. the girls can't go. and 3. I think its a waste of my park time. I am sure Raina and Greg will go they are thrill seekers but they can fast pass and catch up with us after. I have a list of rides I will not go on.....ToT, RRC, EE are among those......and my DH can not go on those because of his back. So we will do fine we can go see the chars, while R&G FP rides. Sorry steps off soap box, under a lot of stress. My DH has been in the hospital all week.......

Ok! sorry about that post! Some times I have anger issues, and little things set me off.......time for a zanax. Ok my favorite rides are:
Pirates of the Caribean
Small World
Space Mountain......not sure when or if I will get to go on this as Audrey doesn't want to go and I think Evalyn maybe to small. maybe we can child swap.
Enchanted Tiki Lounge or what ever they call it these days
Jungle Cruise
oh and Petter Pan.....always loved that ride when I was a kid no one really went on it but kids , Don't understand how this has become a fast pass ride but they must have changed it some?

Really looking forword to Belle's story thing and the little mermaid. Also the safari at AK and all the world showcase at Epcot
By the way my brother went to WDW and hated it he said (it's just like DL just more spread out) quote
I am sure I will love it however ,because he has no imagination! And I always loved DL and he would get board and want to go back to the hotel, early.

Well, I think it will be just wonderful no matter what happens!!!

We will eat, we will ride rides, we will dress up and be silly.....most of all no cooking, no cleaning, and spending quality time with family

My fault sometimes little things just set me off for no apparent reason. So sorry, don't mean to jump on you. But yes that is the exact feeling I have every time I go to Disneyland ,Just magic in the air. I could just walk around the park and never get on a ride and just be happy, silly I know but that's how it makes me feel.

I have never been to Disneyland! I do hope to go there once so I can see the haunted mansion all decked out for nightmare before Christmas!!

Now Disneyland has always been my happy place. The second you walk through the turnstyle you have a big smile plastered on your face! It truly has magic in the air. Just love love love it. So yea I guess that's what WDW will be like. At least I truly hope so, a bigger and better Disneyland that is how I picture WDW

DH is having back surgery on the 30th of dec. Hopefully this will mean he won't be in so much pain next year at WDW. We do have a evc rented so he won't have to do all that walking. I think 1 day would do him in if he had to walk. So he will spend New Years eve in the hospital along with a few more days. The operation is what is refered to as a cage, rods and screws to be put around his disks in his lower back. I hope it gets him out of pain so he can get of the heavy meds he is now taking.

On a happier note I have been working on Christmas presents for Raina and the girls. A new Disney purse for Raina sorry no pics until she gets them. And Mickey mouse shaped purses for the girls. Just there size and only ment to hold a little change for penny squashing and there sunglasses.
