I've always been a Disney Gal, but this year my husband (27) and my brother and his wife (25,) are going to go to Universal for a day. I haven't been in about 14 years, and now there are two parks instead of one. Basically I'm wondering which park we should go to. We will be without our small children and looking for a fast paced adult kind of time. I would love any feedback and any information on the parks for that matter. Thanks for your help!

Yea Islands would be a good park. Well then again there's a lot of stuff in the Studios that are good too for just adults...

Tough one. :confused3

Not to be rude, or "un"helpful, but did you read the Universal FAQ's sticky at the top of the page?

If I had to pick one.. I'd say go to IOA. It is more "up to date" and has the better coasters, rides, etc..

Thought I'd post this to your thread and see what the pros can tell us.

Thanks for any pointers we can get!

We are going to WDW this June and plan on staying a SSR. We want to visit Universal's parks. Any suggestions for an itinerary, best places to eat, tips on discount park tix etc??

Thanks!!

If I only could pick one, then IOA.However if you like hitting parks commando style then do both. You can do most of the main attractions if the park isn't too busy!!

Universal's home page has 7 day tickets for $85 right now (almost the same as a one day ticket). Most all the places at UO are good to eat, off the top of my head i can say to stay away from: Mel's @ the Studios and Circus McGurkus in IOA. You don't really need an "itinerary" if staying onsite...you get FOTL w/ your room key....or, if not staying onsite, you can buy an Express Pass, but it's only good for FOTL one time per ride. If this isn't an option either....get there early!

I do love coasters, and no I didn't read the FAQ's. IOA sounds like a lot of fun, thank you to those of you that answered. ;)

Well nevermind. I just found out I'm expecting our third child. That puts an end to IOA this trip.;) ;)
