First time...how many days?

Yea get the 6 day hopper. On the day you drive up from San Diego, try and get to the park in time to catch the fireworks if they are doing them that night, or the last fantasmic. It would be a great way to start your time in DL. Afterwards, get some Main St. shopping done since the shops stay open after the rides close. Going back for naps everyday is a great idea. Especially since the parks should be open later since it is peak season! Infact, you may wanna go back for naps, hit the pool, then eat dinner before heading back to the parks. Save a little of money if you can do a meal or 2 outside of the DLR! And you don't have to stress about getting back to the park right away because; hey you got a 6 day hoppper! ;)

5 if you have the energy, it can get a bit tiring/not-enjoyable (if you aren't a hyperactive child) after that. 4 would also be good but based on the time of year you are going, you wouldn't have time to see/do everything and still have a "nice" time.
