Hi, Welcome to the Dis! :) I think everybody's "must do" restaraunts will be really different, as different as there are opinions & I don't think we have a shortage of those in these parts. :rotfl: Definitely read up here on different folks reviews of places & the different advice that folks give to one another. You can also check out the menus online lemme find you some links: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningmain.cfm#disneydining also check out here: http://www.allears.net/menu/menus.htm

Have fun planning! :wizard:

Great advice! There are so many great places to eat and the "must do's" really do depend on your, and your son's interests. However, I do feel that Chef Mickey for the classic Mickey characters and Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends are just classic Disney.
Have fun planning!

I'm a big planner, too, and there is nothing like planning for Disney!

Food is a big deal to my family when we travel (we are in the restaurant business) so I'm constantly looking out for a good meal to try. Depending on the age of your son, the only big recommendation I have is make sure you have a character meal planned. Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are 2 pretty good buffets with characters. As for the other meals, these boards are a great place to start. People are not shy about saying that they loved or hated a particular restaurant.

Have fun!

Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace are great choices for kids. You won't be disappointed. Depending on the age of your son some restaurant may be a better choice than others. My kids are not that picky DS7 DD9 and we have dined at many of the WDW restaurants and all have been good. Jiko at AKL was probably the best meal we have had at WDW. Le Cellier will not disappoint either.

Our must do's.

CS - Pecos Bills, Cantina De San Angel, Lotus Blossom.
TS - Raglan Road, 'Ohanas, Le Cellier.
