Day 3 – 23 October

It was another bright, sunny but cold morning. There was no waiting for our 7 o’clock breakfast but by the time we came out there was a queue. We walked to the Park for our EMH and once again went straight on Peter Pan before scooting over to Buzz for 2 goes in a row. Husband by now was loving this. We all went on Orbitron, Pinocchio and IASW –another good use of EMH, as it was only 9.25 am. Husband and dtr decided to go over to Studios for their FIRST go on Crush. Meanwhile I stayed behind to do some more shopping. I bought a new winter jacket, a Christmas present for my sister, my Secret Santa Christmas present, some pens and chocolate for people in work……. And some for myself of course.
Dtr was delighted that she managed to get Donald’s autograph on the way into the Studios. They both LOVED Crush and declared it their new favourite ride.

Dtr then had a photo with Sully and then went into Disney Art of Animation for a lesson on how to draw Mushu. It was interesting to see how much work had been done on TOT since we were there in February.

Next we all queued up for RnR Coaster. I never knew before that there was a chicken-door so I had always waited outside but this time went in and saw the great stuff in the queuing area and then escaped out of the chicken-door instead of going on the ride. We then went for an early lunch in the Restaurant en Coulisse and then back to the hotel for a cuppa tea and a little feet-up time. We strolled back to the Park to get a good seat for the parades. We loved both the mini Halloween parade and the OUAD parade – the FIRST time we had seen it.

After the Parade we went to the Silver Spur for our dinner booking. I will write a separate food review for that.

We left there and were about to go on Phantom Manor when a side door opened and these enormous Pink Witches came out. One chased dtr and made her scream.

After going on PM we explored the Halloween Village for a bit then cut through into Adventure Land to go on POTC twice. We went into Fantasyland and dtr spotted a chance for a photo with Mr Smee.

While I was taking the photo someone put their hands over my ears – I assumed it was husband messing about but when I turned round it was Goofy! We then went on IASW and Snow White then I did a bit more shopping while the other 2 went on BTM. The Park was now closing so we made our way to the Village for a bit more shopping (just as well we came by car this time – I would never have got this lot back home by plane!:rotfl2: ). Back at the SL the Redwood Lounge looked so inviting we had to go in for a Hot Chocolate, then off we went to bed.

A busy day shopping;) , Lovely pics thanks for sharing:thumbsup2

Lovely pics?
Where is the chicken door at R&R??? I would love for my mum to see the first part, but she would never, never, ever go on the ride!!!

It is right by the platform where the riders get in the ride. You get to see it shoot off at a ridiculous rate. :faint:
The door is marked "Exit for non-riders" and then you end up where the riders get off the ride so you don't miss each other.

ok, thanks! I hope I can get my mum to go with me. She'll probably refuse cause she will be affraid that she will be forced to do the ride, when she gets there.
