This next disney trip will be my first time flying by myself and I am kinda nervous. Anyone that can give me some tips and hints on what to do and what not to do would be helpful. I also have one flight switch in Atlanta for about an hour wait.

Thanks for any ideas.

How old are you? I fly a lot and espically go through atlanta living in the south and being Delta Gold Medallion member. I am 15 and have been flying alone since 9 yrs. Atlanta is a big airport and buisest in the world. Since you have an hour make sure not get to lost and ask for help if you need. I enjoy flying alone since Its just me on my schdule and go and eat were i want at the airport. Its fun. Any more questions. Let me know.

haha dont laugh but I am 28 and have never had to fly by myself. I have only flown 2x....lol. I just dont want to miss my flight or anything. I just know I will forget to do something last minute.

In Atlanta, find your next gate and THEN find the bathroom.
It's a huge airport and sometimes a really long walk.
Have your photo ID-gov't issued ready and don't lock
your suitcases until you're checking them in case they want
to inspect them first. Arrive at the airport MORE than an hour
prior to your flight departure. Program the airline's toll free on
your cell so if you run into a problem(delay or otherwise) you
can call and start working on a solution while you are in line
with others waiting for help from a counter person.

Good advice, seeing as how I am new to flying I will be a little nervous so bathroom might be my first stop in Atlanta....lol. I just hope I dont do something to somehow miss my flight from atlanta lol. I also have to get a shuttle bus from Orlando to our hotel since it will be around 12 or 1 so rest of my family will be asleep.

Heck I was 30 the first time I flew (ever). I was nervous but not really scared. I was more concerned about my youngest DD, who is a bit of a chicken. But she loved it.

My only advice is to not "phych" yourself out about it. Relax. And enjoy.
