MAgical Express is fine. Why pay for a cab when ME is free?

There would be minimal upside to taking a cab vs. ME in terms of time savings and a LOT for downside when it came to $$$ (WDW is about a 20 minute drive from the airport on the freeway, that can't be a cheap ride).

Do you need to call disney and set up to use the magical express? I have heard that it can cost upto 50 one way?

ME is free to all WDW guests. Beats paying a cab. And yes, you do need to call them for reservations and to give them your flight information.
