My bf and I are slowly planning a trip to WDW ... he has not flown since he was 13 and I have never been on an airplane ...

My bf is dead set on flying Jet Blue b/c all of his friends love it ... for the both of us round trip it will cost around 800 bucks :scared: (if we were to actually go in June but we have no set date yet) ...

After tell my bf this he thinks it would be cheaper to drive cross country :drive: ... my response: no way! :faint: lol ...

I really don't care what airline we use but since it is my first time flying all I care about is sitting with him on the plane ... I have heard stories that sometimes you are separated from your party and that freaks me out being a first time flyer :o hehehe ...

Anywho, my questions are: how can we fly cheaper? Do we buy extremely early? closer to our vacation date? Tell me your secrets and/or link me to an all mighty powerful thread that can tell me everything  ... b/c we are clueless
:thanks:
Michelle

When are you looking at going? If you are looking at fares that are current but you aren't going for a year, it can be misleading. JB is a terrific airline. They don't normally change seating assignments on people. They do only open up their fares a few months in advance though.
So...keeping that in mind....keep checking the airlines sites. When I am flying someplace, I'm obsessive about checking. I'll check every single day!! My dh thinks I'm nuts but I get some good fares. Keep checking and you'll come up with the best fare. It used to be that the earlier you booked your air the less you would pay. And sometimes that's true. But, with airlines like Delta for instance, the earlier you book the more changes you'll have to deal with. JB seldom makes changes once they post their schedules/fares....but you have to wait awhile for them to post those schedules.

Jet Blue is a wonderful airline with the best service I've encountered on any airflight. Their prices for me at least are always good. I've had no problem getting credit put on my Jet Blue account when there were two price reductions on my tickets for my upcoming Feb trip. Just keep track of their website since you have to make them aware of the reductions.
