During our next trip we will hopefully ride TOT. :woohoo: This will be our very first time ever (we have not been to any other Disneyland Park than Paris yet).

What would you suggest for a first timer? Can we use FP or would we miss a lot of the story in the waiting line?

I would suggest (if someone would ask me the same question) for BTM and Star Tours to use FP for BTM as you are not missing anything of the story but not to use FP for the very fist ride of Start Tours as the waiting line is very beautiful and helps you to get into the Star Wars world and to get the intergalactic feeling. :darth: :yoda:

Hi Marcus,

We went 2 weeks ago and my husband really wanted to go on TOT. We looked at the queue and it wasn't too bad. It said 15mins and the same was for the FP. So he just waited in the queue.

I'd suggest you look at the waiting time in the queue and then see. If its long, get a FP. The normal queue moves pretty quickly.

HTH :)

There's no real difference to be honest - you may miss out on a tiny bit of theming in the gardens and being able to take time to look at the lobby but once you are in the front door, there is little difference queue wise - you all go into the library and then the boiler room together. Enjoy it - it's amazing.

I'd go for a FP unless you get there really early. In the FP line you still get to see the garden, the lobby, and all the other rooms, you just don't wait in them for as long.

:rotfl: Think I will go for fast as its my first time on TOT and the less time I wait the less chance Ive got to think about it and chicken out:scared1: :lmao: and show my self up in front of the two 11yr girls im going with:rotfl:

we found that if you go early on in the day theres no need to get fast pass - sometimes the FP queue was longer than the actual queue! the first time we went on we only queued for about 10 mins. it got busier later in the day though, so we made sure we got FP then.

i have to say TOT is one of the only rides which had be absolutely bricking it every time i went on - you know whats gonna happen when, but how its all put together makes it so scary!
