First time driving.....what to bring?

Most people have covered what we carry.

But I do make sure that I have "good" music, in case the radio is a dud. Sometimes it just doesn't play what we want to hear.

I also bring an eye mask, so I can nap. And knitting, so I have something to do with my hands while I talk to the driver.

A good flashlight, work gloves for changing a tire. A small board to use as a jack stand if you can fit it in. Paper towels and spray for spills or car sickness. Check your spare tire before you leave make sure it’s inflated properly.

Not sure how old your kids are but we like audio books. The Harry Potter series narrated by Jim Dale is great!

We love the app iexit. It lets you see what is coming up ahead on Highway from rest areas to restaurants etc. helps a lot on when to force a potty break or hold out for a bit.
