Hi all,

Frequent WDW visitor here going to DL for the first time since I was a kid.
Yes I've searched through the forum to get a lot of answers but I want your expert Disneyland advice as it stands today as things are always changing, thanks in advance for your expertise!

1. We are looking for table service dining for 2 nights. We are looking at Napa Rose and Blue Bayou but understand they are hard to get. Any recommendations if we aren't able to get those reservations? (we are open to anywhere on property).

2. Let's say we get Blue Bayou. How far is the walk from the furthest area of DCA to Blue Bayou?

3. Let's say we get Napa Rose. I assume we'll have to stop by our hotel first to change into something nicer than park attire?

4. Meeting up with family on another night in DTD, what casual type restaurant would you recommend for a big group? I'm looking at that Black Tap, how is that?

5. I see we can book ADRs 60 days in advance. Is it 60 days +10 as we have in Walt Disney World? or 60 days on the dot and you have to try every day? also 3am pacific time?

thanks all!

5. Yes, you book 60 days in advance at 3am PST. Places like Blue Bayou or Oga's usually get snapped up right away, like if you sign in at 3:10 am they may be gone.

2. I'd give it an hour. I don't think it actually takes that long, but that gives you time for things like a long line getting back into Disneyland, get stuck behind a parade etc.

1. I've heard good things about Wine Country Trattoria. Cafe Orleans is nice, too. Also Lamplight Lounge.

I answered totally out of order, sorry :)

1) Blue Bayou is good mostly for the ambiance honestly. Others will have better suggestions, I generally prefer quick service myself so I don't give up park time and quick service is decent at DLR. Reservations open at 3AM PT 60 days in advance. It used to be random, but it's been mostly reliably consistent the last several months. I would look at the menus for the other restaurants and see if anything strikes your fancy.

2) maybe 15 minutes if even that. Unless you walk slow, hit a huge traffic jam of people, and/or long lines to enter DL. I would not ever leave only that amount of time to get there, though. But that's how long it takes me to walk there without any delay.

3) Napa Rose does not have an enforced dress code. It's not C33. But people often do dress more formally because they choose to. Park attire is fine, though.

4) can't answer this, I don't go with big groups to dine.

5) no. You do not get the "60+length of stay" like WDW has. You must make your reservations daily at 60 days for each day you want reservations.
