Please tell me what you think and if I should make changes, mind you I got most of these resturants off this board . Now I would really like a good steak dinner and the one resturant I hear is good is in Epcot and we will not be going there any other suggestions ?

Looks good, especially if you have picky eaters. :thumbsup2

Primetime will be great for your family. Meatloaf, pot roast, fried chicken. Very homey. Whispering Canyon Cafe will work really well for you too!

Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner would be a good meat-and-potatoes family-style meal if you're looking to add any more.
Also, Ohana is all about the meat skewers! Not sure if they are serving noodles or potatoes now with that. And it is a LOT of fun. Your 9 m.o. will be entertained by all the activity.

I would gently suggest that you pick at least one meal to try to stretch your horizons. DD9 used to be a picky eater and was always more willing to try new things on vacation rather than at home. Heck, she tried bobotie during the food & wine festival and loved it! Sounds like you are not going to Epcot at all. What about Tusker House for lunch or dinner? It is a buffet with African food, so you could try some things, but there is also a carving board area and some kid-friendly non-African foods as well.

Have fun!

You should be fine with you choices. The only one you may want to consider changing is Tony's Town Square to Liberty Tree Tavern. Tony's gets bashed more on these boards than any other restaurant for poor food. I thought it was ok. Anyway, at LTT you get an all you can eat Thanksgiving type dinner. Nothing more meat and potatoes than that.

We went to 1900 Park Fare last summer for breakfast with our grandson who was 7 months old at the time. He really liked the Mad Hatter. The food was very good. The restaurant is a little crowded but we enjoyed ourselves. Didn't see it on your itenerary but when our kids were little we took them to the Garden Grill for dinner with Chip & Dale. It was their favorite meal that time.

Thanks everyone for all your imput, now we were choosing Tonys because of pastas and such . Is there any other good resturant that serves awesome pastas ?

Whispering Canyon will be good if you are more of a meat eater...they also pull off some crazy antics and interact a lot with the guests. We were laughing uncontrolably at one meal b/c of it.
I am with some of the others...Tony's is okay- nothing beyond that really. Planet Hollywood can be a bit loud. Have you checked out the menu for Ohana's?

I don' think Tony's is bad. I think you will be happy with your choices. I also don't think it gets "bashed' here. Everyone single restaurant gets both good and bad reviews, peoples tastes, experiences and desires all differ. What you love, I might hate, and that is reflected in reviews here.
The best steak dinner is probably Shula's at the Dolphin, but it is expensive and not on the DDP. The Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club gets great reviews (we don't like it :rotfl:). If you are on the DDP it is 2 credits.
Have a Great Trip.

I think your choices look good, especially for a "meat & potatoes" family.

I would just perhaps consider making 2 changes -

Maybe change 50's Prime Time to Sci-Fi... I think your older DS would love eating in a car. The menu items for lunch would be things like sandwiches & burgers.

On your AK day, add the character breakfast at Tusker House, so you'll have 1 Mickey character meal - especially since this is your 1st time to WDW!

I love the birthday meal at WCC for your DS!

For steak, if you wanted to change your Tony's ADR, you could try the Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe (at the Poly) for dinner on that night - both have steak on the menu. 'Ohana at the Poly is all-you-can-eat w/ meat skewers.

I agree you should add Ohana its an experience on its own and you will LOVE the Poly resort!

Have fun!

Yeah I would drop 1900 Park Fare as it doesn't seem like characters that a boy would enjoy and would at breakfast at Tusker. This is a really good breakfast and you can't beat the characters. Get a ADR before park opening and you can be almost at the Safari at rope drop!

We really enjoyed WCC!

I would drop Tonys and add Ohanas!
