We are going on our first Disney trip first week of May for 4 1/2 days, five nights at Art of Animation! My goal is Epcot for the first day, so head over around 4ish and stay until close. The next two full days Magic Kingdom, Hollywood studios and Animal Kingdom the last two full days. We do not have park hopper option and only have 5 day tickets. I'm starting to rethink my park options, and wondering with a ten month old , if it's wise to try to do all those parks in one week, or just stick to two? Definitely Epcot the first evening, but the rest of the days Magic Kingdom, and either Hollywood studios or Animal Kingdom the last day!? We will not be going back to Disney for at least another five yrs, or if at all, and I do what to get the most in that I can, and my Five yr old loves everything! Should I try to fit all the parks into 4 1/2 days? Or just focus on two?!

I think your plan sounds doable. Our very 1st trip was when our oldest was 2 and we did all parks and the last day did 1/2 day in MK and the rest of the day in AK...we made the mistake of wasting money on the park hopper when we really didn't need it. Now that we've been to disneyworld quite a few times, for us the park hopper is a good idea because we know what attractions we want to skip. So IMO since it's your 1st trip, don't get the park hopper. You can easily spend a whole day in each park, since it's your 1st time. For us, HS and EP is a half day, which is why we're doing park hopper this year. If you're not going for another 5 years (be careful though, it's addicting :thumbsup2) I would definitely make a plan to visit all parks. Have fun! :cool1:
