First Time Disney: Holiday Budget.. Can you help?

Hi All,

I wondered if you could help me.

We go to Orlando in June for ten nights.

Before we get there, all our park tickets, hotel etc will have been paid for.

I am just trying to figure out what is a resonable budget for a day on food per adult in Orlando (as there are only two adults and no kids travelling!).

An approx figure would be a big help to me!

That could vary greatly from guest to guest. I would suggest you go to the dining area on the main page here and then take a look at the complete restaurant listing. It has every restaurant on Disney property with menus and pricing.

Are you staying on Disney property? I've found the Disney Dining Plan is a wonderful way to plan and budget your meals.

If not, I found (from the receipts we got, we have always used the dining plan) that typical counter service was approx $40 for 2 adults & 2 children, and typical dinners were minimum $100. I'm talking Table Service restaurants, of course dinner shows/Cinderella's Royal Table/LeCellier, etc will be more than that. The $100 does not include tips, either....

I agree, check out where you might like to eat and budget accordingly to the prices on the menus. Or add the dining plan!

Thanks, we are not staying on site.. we are staying in the doubletree on i drive so would intend going for dinner a few nights at some of the nearby restaurants.

Therefor no dining plan!

I have booked the fantasmic package to dine at hollywood and vine the day we go to Hollywood Studios so I guess thats one of the Disney days picked - I'll have a look at the rest.

Between breakfast, light lunch (sandwich or something similar) and dinner in restaurants similar to for example TGI Fridays.. owuld about $75 be a resonable assumption per adult?
