Good evening everyone!! I'm going on my families first DC Fantasy 7 night Caribbean. I was wondering if anyone had any tips or suggestions on things to do and things they don't tell you that maybe fun? In our family it is myself, hubby, children whose ages are 8,6 and 6months. Thanks again for all the help.

There's a thread called "Cruise Secrets that DCL doesn't tell you. See below. It might be a good read for you. Otherwise, there's so many things it would be hard to narrow down for you. Number one is read the Personal Navigator you get in your stateroom each night. That's the schedule of activities for the next day and is chocked full of info.

You will have a blast!
-If you intend to go to character meet and greets be sure to get tickets when you first board the ship.
-Don't miss the sail away party, it's a lot of fun. (Go to upper decks to avoid the crowds)
-You can order anything on the menu and any amount you want. If you only want the tuna tower, get 3 ;)
-Go to Palo Brunch
-Don't try to do everything

HAVE FUN!

I just want to point out that not every character meet and greet requires a ticket. On my 7 night Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy, tickets were only needed for Elsa and Anna and the Princess Gathering. Everyone else, you just needed to look at the times in the Navigator and show up in that window to join the line.

You will receive a Navigator (Newletter) the day you board or you can download an app with the newsletter. This will list all the information about what is happening on your cruise day by day. You will receive a new one each night in your cabin listing the next days events.
The first day you board look at the front page of the Navigator it will list any character meet and greets that will require tickets

It's kinda of small and to the right so be sure to look for it

Here is a link that post past Navigators. The events won't all be the same but it will give you a good idea of events.

The app will not show you the info for your cruise until you board (I think it works in the Cruise Terminal but don't remember) . But be sure to download it before you leave home to save on wifi time.

There is also a fun countdown clock in the app.

If you have smart phones you will also be able to text each other on the cruise without using your personal wifi.
