First time cruisers, when to book?!

Hi there

We are first timers on DCL for our honeymoon and I really want to book Remy Brunch and Palo for dinner.

We are on 7night western Caribbean for halloween on the high seas.
What day/night would be best to book these 2 for? I dont want us to miss anything huge as its our first time but want to make it special as its our honeymoon!

Remy brunch would likely only be offered on a sea day. As for Palo, many people would say book it for pirate night since the menu isn’t that great. I sort of agree with that but you don’t want to miss the pirate deck party. Check out past navigators for that itinerary, and you can also call DCL to find out what the dining rotations are so you can see what night you are repeating at certain restaurants.

One tip I have read here is to book the specialty dinners after the first three nights of the cruise, since that way you do not miss any of the main dining rooms as they will all have completed their first rotation, and apparently the animator's palate show is better on the first AP night.

Agree, do the rotation for days 1, 2, and 3. We have dined at Palo on day 4 because Day 5 is usually Pirate Night, Day 6 is Lobster Tail dinner (because we like lobster) and Day 7 is lobster bisque (made from the lobster tails).
