First time Cruisers questions....

leaving for first disney cruise on 9/26 wonder.we are getting excited.is there a formal night on the 4 night wonder?How do you dress for your rotational dinning?Can you take your own alcohol on board?Sorry for all the questions,i have gotten a lot of good advice from you guys so far.Will we ba able to go to cc?Thanks. :

I don't think there's a formal night on the Wonder but someone with lots of Wonder experience like Barb can say for sure.

As for dressing for dinner, I would say dressy casual is a good description. I wore nice capri sets or slacks sets. On Tropical Night I wore a long tropical dress. DH wore slacks and a shirt every night except that I made him add a tie and blazer for the formal and semi-formal nights. We were on the Magic but I'm sure the non formal nights are the same on both ships. Dockers and a polo would also be fine for guys too.

We saw lots of little girls in their princess dresses and they were just precious.

We've sailed several times on the Wonder and must say that it gets more casual each cruise.

There is no set "formal night" as there is on the Magic. DCL suggests polo-style shirts and slacks for men/ casual skirts or pants for women -- no shorts. People used to dress-up more for Tritons (sports jacket, skirt/dress), but at least half of the people dress the same as they did at the other restaurants. My husband and son still wear sports jackets at Tritons since it is the most formal of the restaurants and we try to make it a special night.

The one place you really want to look nice is Palo (sports coat or suit / cocktail dress).

No formal night on the Wonder, and dressing for dinner..very casual. Capris/pants and a top, casual sundress for women, pants and a polo shirt for men.

You can take alcohol on board..we did..and never drank it..just didn't have time. The cruise goes by so quickly.
