First Time Cruiser. :/

Hey all. Well, where to start? My name's Hallee, I'm 15, almost 16 [pronounced like Halle Berry] and I'm going on my first Disney Cruise this upcoming Feburary. And to tell the truth, I'm extremely nervous! I'm shy and don't really take to big crowds if I don't know anyone. The dates I'm going to be on the cruise is Feb 15-18. So I was wondering, is anyone else going on those days with a teenager? I would just like to find someone my age that I can get to know before the cruise. Maybe over myspace, facebook, aim, email, etc. If you know of anyone going or you are the one going, please let me know! Oh! And if you have any tips on must do's on the cruise, I will glady take them! Thanks!

I'm not going on that cruise, but I can say you'll definitely have fun! Cruises are a blast. I've sailed DCL twice, and will be sailing again in March.

I haven't been to the teen club on DCL (I just didn't want to), but I've heard that you should definitely go to the 411 meet the first night/afternoon on board. I've heard it's a great time to meet people and see what there is to do in the teen club. Just remember: everyone else will be in the same boat as you (no pun intended ) and will also have to make friends. There will be shy people and outgoing people, and I doubt it will be very hard to make friends (I'm also a very, very shy person).

If you find that after the first night or two that you don't like the teen club, there's so much to do on board that you can do instead. You definitely won't be bored.

1) it isn't a huge crowd (almost) ever
2) wild side (excursion) on Castaway Cay
3) if you embaress yourself, you only have to endure it for a maximum of 6 more days

Hope you find someone your age on your cruise before you sail.
But, if you don't, it's not the end of the world. As I said, there will probably be quite a few people who are nervous to meet others.

girl do not be nervous!! i have been on DCL 3 xs and im going my 4th in september. i promise u will have so much fun!!! i personally dont like the kids club or the teen stack but thats just me. i still recomend going and trying it out. if u hate it u dont have to go back. my sis loves it and spends a bunch of time in there. u can hang by urself or w/ ur family. last time one of my friends happened to go on the same cruise so we hung out a lot.
