First Time Cruiser Check In Questions

Hello -
Myself and two friends are cruising Disney for the first time in December and our check-in date is coming up. I've taken upon myself to do our check in when it becomes available. We are on a short cruise and don't intend to participate in any excursions, and we don't have intentions of eating at Palo or Remy. Spa services we are interested in aren't available until we are on the cruise, so I'm assuming all I'm really doing is checking in?

Any pointers on this? What information do I need (for each of us)? If we each want a different credit card on our account, can I do this at online check in, or do I have to do that later? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

I would recommend taking a look at Goofy's check in short video now. If you click on my online check in on your reservation page you will be able to view it. Just have all important information handy (passport numbers, credit cards, etc) choose an early PAT if you are able to, if traveling with kids set up all their account even if you don't plan to put them in the kids clubs this helps just in case you change your mind. Yes you can have different credit cards for each adult and you can grant children spending privileges if you would like as well.
This website should help as well

I was going to suggest this. Just say you'll each pay in cash. You can change your mind when you check in at the port.

You can also make changes after you get an early port arrival. When I check in, none of have passports and we are all paying cash. As soon as I have my early PAT and all the excursions and such that we want, I go back and enter all the passport and credit card info.

Here's a weird one: do you need to print out anything from the online check in to bring with you? Or is it all digital?

You can/should print out the signature page (the one where you agree to be responsible for charges onboard). You don't have to, as you'll just need to sign one at check in anyway. It just saves a little time.

I am pasting a link to a video that helped me. I wanted an early PAT so I just entered "use government issued id" "pay cash" and "travel by my own car" to get to the pick arrival window, then went back later and edited it.

Oh how I wish I would've known this. I didn't have flight info yet so I was waiting. And getting nervous. I was playing with it one day to see if I could get through and just put I was driving. I got noon for check in which isn't the worst but I wanted earlier :( I guess we learn from our mistakes. Do people ever get on early? We still plan on arriving early as we are dropping off our rental car about 10.

Boarding begins around 11:30 with Concierge and Platinum CC members. Then boarding numbers are announced. Once the boarding number being announced catches up to the number being issued at check in, Open Boarding is announced (anyone holding any boarding number may board). This typically happens around 12:45 or so.
