Me and DH are in Disney withdrawl since we have not been since Jan 02. We usually go once a year but had to take time off to have baby.
Here is my go at my first trip report, hope you like.
Stayed at POFQ, which was wonderful, will stay here again. Started out on 12-07-04 left home at night as easier to drive with DD. Made it to Ocala and stayed the night. Up early to eat breakfast at Cracker Barrall, then off to the World. Checked in at 12:30 and the room was ready 7322. Very nice and clean. Everything was so close here. Unpacked and off to the Marketplace for shopping. Left and went to Wilderness Lodge for decorations, beautiful of course, then off on boat to MK. Caught the boat just right to see Wishes from the boat. Off at MK to catch bus back to PO for night. Up early to look at decorations. Went to MVMCP wonderful parade. A little more crowded than I expected but worth the smile on DD face to see Mickey for 1st time. Wishes was fabulous, the best fireworks I have ever seen!!! Sat in front of crystal palace. Friday up and to MGM for playhouse disney, she loved it and when we came out characters galore Met Mickey and Pluto then off to MK for lunch at Crystal Palace with Pooh. Rode pooh and Aladinn magic carpets. Then came the fun of the virus. DD was puking for the rest of the day and night. Off to Clinic and 160.00 and 1 shot later she was ok. Saturday, was a little slow but better. Off to AK, good day. Loved the Safari and the train. Planned to go to MGM to see lights but crowd was crazy. People waiting all the way to the buses to get in so change of plans and went to MK. Crowded also but not as bad. Rode Dumbo and train and went to toon town. Back to hotel and food court which was by the way very good and very well priced. We were supposed to leave Sunday but got extra day off and room so we stayed another night. Had to change room in order to do this. We did get to change on Saturday during nap time so this was easy, crazy but easy. Never will understand why they could not move people out of our room to other room but oh well. Moved to 4140 which was better location anyway. Sunday off to Epcot and spaceship earth, living seas and figment which DD loved!!!!!! Lunch with Mickey at The Land. Back to room for nap. Packed up a little, then off to MGM for lights they were good and not as crowded. Off to epcot for some of the world's. DD got hard to handle so back to the room with no Illuminations (oh well have to save something for next year). DH went to ESPN club to watch football and I got to see Desparate Housewives so all worked out. All in all great trip. DD 1st time and she was alot easier to handle than I thought she would be. Will be back in fall of 05. Can't wait.
