My family and I LOVE everything Disney and wish we were able to go often, but this year is a no go for us. BUT, we get to live vicariously through our best friends who are heading to the World for their very first time. And because I LOVE all the planning involved, I get to have the joy of making all of their plans. They are a family of 6 (boy 10, girl 8, girl 6, and boy 4) and will be driving from the DFW area to Ft. Wilderness pulling a TT. My family of 4 has stayed at the value resorts, but never at the campground (although after all this research, as soon as hubby finds a job, we are making plans for our own trip to FW!) and so I have several questions.
The drive looks to be around 20 or 21 hours. Any suggestions for how to do it so they arrive with optimal timing?? They are coming the first week of June and staying for 7 nights, 8 days and using the DDP. The first night they are going to Hood De Doo and won't go into the parks that day. I'd love any advice as to how to time it all out and what to do if they get there before check in and any info you would care to share!!
Also, I know the Photopass photographers aren't at the resorts, but with all the special activites at FW, I was hoping maybe there were some around?? My friends are HORRIBLE at keeping up with cameras and are really hoping to use the Photopass photographers as much as possible.
Any other helpful info I could use?? Thanks so much!!
