To the Disboards and to the Fort.
As you probably have seen, you will get lots of input and opinions.
First let me say that I am glad to see that you booked "Premium". We made our first trip in August with our new 37' TT. As luck had it we arrived a day earlier then planned. They did have a "Preferred" spot available for us. While our TT COULD fit in the spot assigned, the problem is that the combination of the 37' TT and my F-250 Crew Cab, made negotiating turns and angles difficult at best. At least in the premium spots you (tend to) get more room to maneuver. Either way, if you have issues with the site you are assigned, you can always go back to the check in and request a new site.
As for your plans in June, 4 day Hopper and Universal for a day. I have to agree with others that it's ambitious for a first timer. If you can do it.... great. We (personally) have not found a lot of value in the Hopper passes and have never gotten them. There is just too much to do (for most people) in each park, that when you couple "Travel Time" and temperaments of your group/family, Hopping to another park just doesn't seem worth it. You and your crew maybe a bit more aggressive in getting around the parks, so really only you can decide the value of it.
I will also say that you should NOT try and see and do everything in the parks. Take your time... enjoy it.... and plan to come back on another trip. We have been there several times and we still find things we haven't done or seen. Trying to rush your way around to all the attractions are just going to frustrate you and crew.
Read through some of the trip reports of others and the threads... Check the "Crowd Calendars" too. Many make suggestions, based on the crowds, on how to maximize seeing the attractions.
I am sure you will love the Fort. So enjoy it and keep us posted as well. Also note.... we LOVE LOVE LOVE pictures too.
