First time buyer - Polynesian offer

Hi everyone! Looking to buy DVC for the first time and have a deposit down for 80 points at the poly for $135 a point. Is this a good deal? Trying to decide if I should stay with it, or take the refund and wait and see if prices drop more later this year. I know it is harder to get a smaller contract with a low point price, so that’s what led me to this initially. Just need some reassurance (or not if I’m crazy and this isn’t a good deal). ROFR thread can give you a clue. $135pp for 80 point contract is a good price. If DVC were exercising ROFR I would say it was at risk of being taken. I don't Disney has exercised ROFR since March.

And Disney has yet to exercise ROFR on a Poly contract, since they started selling it. At some point they will have to. I’m amazed they haven’t, with the price they charge for direct.

Great price. Poly is my favorite resort and have 3 contracts there. I payed more for each of mine and have no regrets.

I had a Poly contract taken in ROFR shortly after they sold out. It was 150 points at $130.

For a small contract like that, it's a great price! I don't think prices will get that much lower, particularly for a small contract, but of course none of us know for sure! If the size and UY are right for you, I'd keep it!
