We are heading to Universal at the end of May albeit only for one day. Next January we are staying at HRH for 3 nights in the middle of a WDW stay so we would like to do at least three more park days at universal.

What would you suggest for a one day schedule at the end of May? We are a family with three girls ages 4 to 10.

Thanks!

Check out the UO website and see what is in both parks

You will get info of the rides, shows and eateries

Maybe you could have your children look and see what attractions appeal to them

The younger child would enjoy Seuss land but so would the entire family

Animal Actors in Parade would be a fun show for your family

Are you staying onsite in May? EP's would allow you to see a lot in one day. Otherwise, use that one day to pick a few must dos and look around the park at what you'd like to do on your longer trip. The Harry Potter areas and Seuss areas would be great for your kids. There's also a lot of characters around for photos. Their lines aren't usually long and the interactions are fun!

We're two adults and spend more time in Universal than we do in IOA, but Seussland is in IOA which probably caters most to children of those ages. With APs you can easily hop between parks, so maybe start at IOA and the hop (or ride HE) over to Universal for the rest of the day.

If it were me I’d either make it a HP only (mostly) day or not do any Harry Potter and save it as the “neat” thing to look forward to.
