Hello,

This is our very first time at POP. We ahve a standard room booked. Which building in the standards gives best access to the front desk and buses?

Thank you!

We stayed in the 70's section/courtyard view and really liked the location. We felt we were reasonably close to the bus, food court and two pools.

We were in the 70's building and it was a really quick walk to the main building. The resort isn't really that spread out, so you shouldn't have much of a problem anywhere. :goodvibes

Just stay away from the 80s and 90s. It's quite a bit of a walk to the lobby. You can ask for the 50s bldg. I believe the 50s is a little closer to the lobby than the 70s. But any bldgs in the 70s, 60s, and 50s will be just fine.

when do you request which building to stay in? when you arrive?

i hate walking lol but i'd love to stay in the 90s building. how far away is it?!

FAR IMO, esp if you have kids...and I don't mind walking lol ;) We paid extra for preferred room and were right by the pool and main building. It was GREAT, colorful and close to everything. Those nights after being in a park alllll day can be exhausting, esp when you are hauling kidlets around with you. POP is an awesome resort though !

Our preferred location is the 50's building. We like the one that faces the lake.

We usually don't request a building....part of the surprise of arriving I suppose LOL. Last year we did get the 50's building though and I have to say that it's our favorite building thus far.

We just stayed in the 70's building lake view and the location was very convenient. I was very surprised, I thought the resort would be a lot larger. We are used to staying at POR so I guess my expectations were just that it would be more spread out. We even walked over to AoA and it was only a quick 5 minute walk.

We stayed in 70's and thought it was very close to main building/food court/ bus stop. 50's was super close too. Requested 50's again but would be happy with 60's or 70's too.

Thank you everyone for the replies. We'll be happy with whatever, but it's nice to know it isn't as big as POR...!
