First time at GFV, tips?

We will be staying at the GFV soon for the first time. Any tips or special things to know about the Villas.
We are familiar with the GF grounds, restaurants, etc.

You check in at VGF.

Parking for VGF guests is located in front of the building.

In case you are in a studio, the laundry room is on the fourth floor.

There is a covered walk way to the main building, but I think it is quicker to walk via the beach pool and then next to the water play area and go in the side door of the building.

The BBQ gas grills are out front next to the basketball half court. You get the BBQ tools from check in desk CMs at VGF.

Don't forget you can also walk to the Poly to catch the ferry.

Perfect location to take advantage of both resorts' restaurants and counter service.

The private check in is great, the staff there went above and beyond to make my stay wonderful. The fitness center is right across from the villas which I loved. I had a really great standard view! I filmed a little resort/room tour you can check out. It's starts in skinny mode! But does go to full screen once I get to the room

How much storage for clothes is there in the studio ?
I loved the video - but did not see any storage, just the pull out bed and the couch.
Do you live out of your suitcase ?

There are drawers under the bed and a closet for hanging stuff

When heading to the Magic Kingdom, take the monorail. MK is the very next stop. But when coming back, take the boat launch. GF is the first stop coming back by boat. You'll avoid the crowds and get back faster.

The bus pickup and drop off location has a screen with the times the next bus is due to arrive.
