First time at DVC!!

Okay, so being a Florida resident and AP holder, I tend to go to Disney a lot. But by far my favorite trips are when I get to stay on property when my family visits. My Mom's spouse and I decided she needs a vacation, since she's been stressed lately for various reasons. So two days ago we bought her tickets to fly down and visit me, and yesterday we told her the good news. She was so excited!

Then today, once she'd calmed down, I asked her what she wanted to do. Naturally, she said Disney, but she was hoping we could somehow stay at WL without having to sell our kidneys. I wasn't sure but I said I'd check. I called up Disney and their AP discount was good, but I thought, "There's gotta be a way I can do better." So I went on a bunch of DVC rental sites, and finally found a wonderful lady willing to rent her points for a good price, but all that was available for our dates was SSR! So sad, but hey, it's a deluxe property for a good price. I was about to tell her to go ahead and book, when she sent me another e-mail telling me WL JUST opened up for those two days and did she want me to book it??? Of course I said yes! So we did a Paypal transfer, then she sent me the confirmation with my name and my mom's name, and we are officially staying at the VWL over Labor Day Weekend! I am so excited!!! Come celebrate with me.

And I'd like to publicly thank Darcie from the DVC Members Forums at Mouseboards.com. I was nervous about the process at first but she made it so painless. Really, I'm not a religious person, but she's a real angel
