Hello all,

I have never been to Disneyland before, but I am traveling on business to a convention at the Hyatt Regency Orange County in mid November. I figure as a WDW fan I am obligated to make a visit to Disneyland.

I was looking for info on park hours, but they do not appear to be posted yet. I was looking to see if they do anything like Mickey's Very Merry, figuring that would fit in well where I have to spend the day at the conference, but there wasn't much info on what goes on in Disneyland for the holidays.

As I am going to be tied up during the day, is it worth going into Disneyland just for an evening? What are their typical holiday events or hours? If you were in my position, what would you do? Thanks.

The Christmas events are "included in the price of admission", i.e. there's no extra cost event like MVMCP. http://www.wdwinfo.com/Disneyland/Events/holiday-season.htm (the Holiday Time tour does cost extra, as do all tours).

What would I do if I were around WDW at Christmas time? I'd definitely bip over there after work.

If I remember correctly, October starts the beginning of the Fiscal year for DL and dates usually don't appear until September or so.

Definitely pay an evening visit! If you are at the Hyatt OC it's a 5-minute ride on a shuttle (they run every 30 minutes) - it makes it very easy. I guess the deciding factor will be whether your free time aligns well with the park hours for those dates, but if the timing works out - why not?

Or maybe you can see if it's possible to adjust your flight home a day later or your flight there a day earlier.
