We are going to Club 33 for the first time on July 19th. My DH is so excited he can hardly see straight. Can anyone out there tell us what to expect and what we should wear? Also, how far ahead of our reservation time should we get there and what is the typical wait time to get seated and served? Are there special mementos for purchase?

Thanks

Congratulations! I hope you love it as much as I did when I was able to go. They do have a dress code now, but even if they didn't, I like to make is a special experience. I suggest dressing up slightly, but nothing sleeveless as they won't let you in! I have done slacks and tunic or a nice skirt. Slacks and a nice shirt for DH. It's a nice meal with very attentive service. The menu changes seasonally, but they typically have a little of everything, meat, fish, poultry, pasta. Feel free to go out on the veranda, it's a great view, just be sure to close the door after you if it was already closed and you aren't sitting next to it. I took pictures of everything our server gladly took a picture of my group. They do sell Club 33 gifts, these change, but I've seen shirts, mugs, shot glasses, key chains, Mickey ears, pens, pins, etc. They are in a cabinet near the elevator. You have to ask to see them and the price, but don't hesitate to ask. They do not let you in early so don't show up any more than 5 minutes before your scheduled time. Then you ring the bell, they ask for your name, and if it's not too early they will let you in. If you're early or there are already a number of groups waiting they will have you wait outside.

Enjoy!!

Most of what you want to know can be found here: http://www.disneylandclub33.com/

As far as attire goes. If you are eating lunch you can wear dress shorts polo shirt. No denim!!!. If you are eating dinner you have to wear dress slacks or better. Polo shirt is ok but dress shirt & tie would be better for dinner. They do have stuff for sale in a curiole. Not a massive selection but enough for the select audiance. You don't have to show up early just get there on time!!!

Dress code depends on if you are doing lunch or dinner. Lunch can be a little mroe casual. Even nice jeans are okay! Dinner you need to dress up more.

You are told to not get there too early, or they won't let you in yet. As the PP said 5 minutes before your reservation time. It can take some time to get seated. Meanwhile you can take pictures of the lobby, and the glass elevator.

The first time we went, we got a wine glass, and a key chain. This time we got a shot glass, Mickey ears, and two mugs. It varies every time we've gone on what they have to buy.

You actually can wear jeans to lunch. I've got the paper they gave us a few weeks ago that says so right here. They just have to be nice jeans. Meaning no holes, fit properly, and not faded. We wore jeans to lunch in October, this time we dressed up a little more even though it was lunch.

Thanks everyone for all of the info. We are going to dinner - 6:00 pm - so I guess we'll dress up and go for it. We were told by a neighbor to show up 15 -30 minutes early so I'm glad I posted my questions and got all of your thoughts on arrival time. Thanks again, we can hardly wait!!!!!

My only other advice is to really take it all in, go out on the balcony and watch everyone below, and mostly take lots and lots of pictures!! :) Have a great time!

Yes! The balcony is one of the magic moments. :) Don't bother showing up early. They will be prepared for you at your specified time and there's not room for sitting around waiting inside.

definitely take it all in. We went in May and it was a truly unforgettable experience.

Quick question about Club 33. My DH has a friend/client who has offered to host us at Club 33 - it's an open invitation and he said to let us know when we want to go. Yay!

I am planning a surprise Anniversary trip in September for DH and I. I really want to go to Club 33 on this trip b/c we won't have the kids with us but am not in a position to contact this client directly to make the arrangements. Therefore I'm going to have to tell DH about the trip ahead of time. I've read that the max window for guest reservations is 2 months ahead of time. Can anyone confirm this? I don't want to tell DH about the trip any earlier than is necessary to get these reservations. I'm thinking of telling him about 2 weeks before the window opens so that he can call his client and make arrangements, etc.

I would think the earlier the better for ressies. :) Enjoy your anniversary, I wanted to make that happen for us but I don't think it will. :(

OP, enjoy your meal!! I'm jealous! :)

Lol! You are going to have such a good time! Eat slowly, that is all I can say! And dont eat much that morning, that way when you pig out, and you should! you will have room.
We bought club 33 mugs (15- each) we were also given match books and chocolates.
The service was exceptional. If you drink, I would also suggest to have a glass of champagne, even if it is early. Only because its the only place in DL that you can imbibe. And the deserts omg there are so many to choose from. Oh and in the ladies room, take pictures, that is the only clue Ill give you.:lmao: Oh have fun! I am so excited for you!

That is correct. If the Club member is a member of the party reservations may be made up to three months in advance. If the member is not included in the group, reservations may be made up to two months in advance.

If the trip to DL limits you to specific dates for dinner, making the reservation as early as possible is the best approach. Dinner is not served every night year round. During 'off season' dinner is limited to extended weekends. Lunch is served daily.
