there came the PACI fairy. My DD was so attached to her paci. I told her that the Paci Fairy was coming and would be taking her paci's to Santa to give to the babies this Christmas. Well, the Paci Fairy did come, took all the paci's. She cried about 2 hours at 3:00 o'clock in the am. She has not asked for one since. YEAH, Paci Fairy. Of course, she says Santa is going to bring her a rocking horse for Christmas because she was a good girl and "shared" her pacifiers. LOL

When my youngest nephew was born, DD Sarah was 2yo. We asked her if she wanted to give all her pacifiers to her new cousin. We helped her put them in a box and wrap it with pretty paper. She proudly gave them to her aunt Susan for the baby. Sarah never asked for her pacifier again (even though we kept one in reserve - just in case).

I hope that Santa brings your DD a really nice rocking horse.

That warehouse at the North Pole does get pretty full around this time of the year. Perhaps Santa needs some room for the other toys and might just have to make a special delivery.

Thanks for the smile. Reminded me of a rocking horse story. My daughter got one for Christmas when she was 4. She was so frightened of it, that she started crying. Then my son saw it (he's 18 months younger, had just turned 3). He jumped right on it and started rocking away, having a blast. My daughter, went from screaming to curiosity in about 5 seconds, got off my moms lap (she had gone there for consoling), went and knocked my son right off and started riding it herself.

I hope your daughter enjoys hers.
