Actually that reflection/screen image in the artwork is interesting. It looks like the car is changing, as in customizations you selected are taking affect? So the selections you pick to customize your ride are maybe going to be virtual.
My thoughts on the whole select and customize your experience would have been things you selected changed what affects happen during the ride. Heat blast instead of car wash, bumpy ride instead of smooth etc...
I didn’t think that they would be able to change the ride vehicle so this may explain how they intend to do that. Kind of like the ghosts in the Doom Buggy at HM but instead the Doom Buggy changes and you are left unaccosted?
Hard to say from a picture though and I don't see the people in the reflection but still interesting.
