My husband and I seperated 4 months ago. It's been very hard. I planned this trip right after he left because I knew the Summer was going to suck and be emotionally draining and that I was going to need to get away. And what better place than the Happiest Place on Earth!
I leave tomorrow. I'm all packed, including the bikini I bought in March and never got a chance to wear because I never made it to the shore. I also have my MNSSHP costume packed, but I still dont know if I'm wearing it. Im going as Tinkerbell but I'm a little worried its too revealing. If I was going with my Husband it would be no big deal but my nerves are my nerves and I'll probably end up buying a Disney Halloween shirt and just wear that. We'll have to see how I'm feeling the night of the 20th when I go. Here's a pic of the tink outfit:

I have my ADRs all set and Ive overcome my anxiety of eating alone. I know the parks will be empty so I didnt plan out the trip like I did 4 years ago when we went for our 5th wedding anniversary in October. I just know what parks Im doing each day and letting my mood determine what I do in each one each day and night.
I also know Im hitting Le Cava in Mexico tomorrow night for some margaritas! Time to enjoy myself! Also hitting Karamel Kuche for some sinful snacks (If i over indulge, Im bringing my one piecer for the pool!
)
The only thing Im worried about are memories. Ive only been to WDW once in the last 20 years, and that was 4 years ago with my husband. We had the best time and Im just worried Ill be an emotional mess at points during my 6 day stay at CBR. So if you see a woman crying, you'll know why...
This is a big step for me and I cant wait to leave. Ive been gourging myself with all the Disney films I have. yesterday was Pinocchio, Sleeping Beauty and Lion King. Today and tonight, my faves: Little Mermaid, Bambi, Monsters Inc, Snow White & Up...which i might hold off on because the opening scene always gets to me.
To all of you heading out on your Solo trips, either the sametime as me or later this year, cheers to all of you and here's hoping we all have a great time and find whatever it is we're looking for or need from the trip!
