First seating at Sanaa question

I remember reading a blog by someone who had the first seating at Sanaa, and they said that they do a drum / singing / dancing ceremony at the opening for dinner at Sanaa. I believe that this was the first dinner there ever, so I'm wondering if they still do this?

We were there for lunch in May, and Sanaa opened at 11:30am. Our ADR was for 11:40am but we arrived and checked in at 11:25am. I'm so glad we did for two reasons: 1) we requested a received a table by the window; and 2) they did an opening ceremony exactly as you described with CMs clapping, dancing, drumming, etc. They invited the kids to participate and our pre-schooler was happy to join in!

Not sure about an opening ceremony, but Sanaa is our new favorite Disney restaurant hands down. This is considering the great value, great food, atmosphere, and views of the Savannah.
