"First rule of leadership, Princess...." ~Overdosing on Ice Cream

I would stay at any of them too, well probably not the Contemporary, but every other one!

I stayed at the Contemporary in 1987 and the Polynesian in 1995 so I can cross those off my list -- that only leaves six others. And if we are counting, it also leaves three values and one moderate -- so I need to go at least ten more times to fit in all the resorts. :lmao:

I'm finally caught up! I loved the character interaction you had at Park Faire! We had dinner there - it was a little more rushed - we had to remind them that we hadn't met Cindy and her prince yet after we'd been there for 90 minutes. We saw the mice alot! :rotfl2: The food was pretty good, but your breakfast looked delicious! How nice that you had a day to relax - gotta get me one of those! :goodvibes I hope your day wasn't too off track - sounds like some drama coming....

:goodvibes Show off!

Not to much drama coming. ;)

Ah, a nice relaxing morning-not much can beat that! I think it's hilarious they serve GUMMY BEARS at breakfast. :rotfl2: Too bad to hear that your DH's driving experience wasn't all that great...:sad2:

Yes, but only one moderate left to get to, which one haven't you stayed at yet?

Good lord, woman! What are you doing awake at like 5:00 your time on a Sunday???

We haven't stayed at Caribbean Beach yet -- I wanted to this summer but since they are rehabbing the pool (and we are big pool people) we are waiting until next year -- that's the plan anyway. I think that pirate ship they are building for the main pool is going to be ultra-cool!

I have to go work the concession stand at an event to earn money for football. I did not want to get up that early, I'm leaving in a few minutes.

The Disneyland Hotel pool has a pirate ship, and so does Beach Club, is there a picture somewhere of the one they are building at Caribbean? It does sound cool and might make a nice alternative to BC.

nice update...

I loves me some gummy bears!
:goodvibes

Okay, that makes sense -- sorry you had to get up so early. :(

Here is a link to a picture of what the pirate ship will look like -- I am such a sucker for pirate theming. :)

I read your update yesterday, but didn't have time to respond. I was supposed to be outside, helping side the garage and I ran in for a bathroom break, which brought me by the computer, and OOPS! I ended up checking my subscriptions on the DIS and just had to read your update! But since I was on borrowed time, I didn't want to get caught writing a response! ;)

Love the pictures! And forget having Wheaties for breakfast... Gummi Bears are the real breakfast of champions! :thumbsup2 Don't you love vacations when you can get away eating like that?! MY DS still talks about the time on our Chicago trip a couple of years ago when I let him have Baskin Robbins ice cream for supper! (Actually, I wanted ice cream for supper but it made it sound better that I was doing it for him!)

Wow what great interaction! The kids really looked like they were have a blast and the food/gummy bears looked yummy. I mean where else can you have gummy bears for breakfast??
As far as the cell phone and DH thingy...I can only imagine whats coming.....yikes!

Sounds like you had a great time at 1900 Park Faire. I've been trying to decide on one more character breakfast for next trip. My son thought that one sounded good, but I've been a little uncertain. Now I think I will go ahead and schedule it for him.

Of all the characters we met last trip, I think we had the most fun with Mary Poppins. She was fantastic!

:thumbsup2 We hadn't ever met Mary Poppins before but we've always had great interaction with Alice and the Mad Hatter. It was a great breakfast and riding the monorail over there was really fun.

Great trip report.....and wonderful pictures! Could you tell me what kind of camera you have?

Great update, Michelle :goodvibes Gummy bears for breakfast sounds good to me :rotfl2: I've taken a look at the Pirate & Princess Party info, but I don't think they have it in October :confused3

The coordinated clothes really do make the pictures "pop" - I must try to get organized enough to do that ::yes::

Looking forward to your next update popcorn::
